    Hi all!
I need a 512 Mb card for my nokia 6260.
Does a standard RS MMC card do the trick or do I need a MMC Mobile card,
with dual power and so on? It's to install a GPS software...
    Best regards,

    The manual reads:

"Use only compatible multimedia cards (MMC) with this device. The
compatible MMC for your device is Reduced Size Dual Voltage
MultiMediaCard. Other memory cards, such as Secure Digital (SD) cards,
do not fit in the MMC card slot and are not compatible with this device.
Using an incompatible memory card may damage the memory card as well
as the device, and data stored on the incompatible card may be corrupted."

And here's the manual on the web:

    http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/g...6260_UG_en.pdf

Incidentally I have not been able to locate a stereo headset in the USA
-- the pin arrangement is different from the 6230 which doesn't have all
of the pins which are required for the 6260. NokiaUSA doesn't know
anything about the 6260, NokiaUK won't help anyone outside of the UK, and
NokiaHKG doesn't have the headsets. What I would like is only the
adapter with a long or short cable (which acts as an antenna) and then I
would plug in a decent headset -- not the little Nokia things that fall
out of the ear. Do you happen to know where these cables can be obtained?

(I bought two different ones from HKG on eBay which claimed to be for
6260 but they did not work -- they were the type for 6230, not 6260.)

Sorry, no clue. Here in France, Nokia is rather big though.
I know my boss was in Hong Kong recently and he bought some gear that
looks to be what you're looking for. A cord, at the end there's a little
box with an LCD display that allows him to search for radios, control
volume and so on. As far as i remember, it was actually Nokia branded.
I'll check it out and come back to you after I have a closer look if you
    want.

I can send you a 512Mb or 1G Rs MMC

Seems like most of your responers were uneducated. The 6260 use a standar
RsMMc not a dual voltage yes there are such things and a Gps device will
probably only be around 400kb i have these cards and can preload apps and
games for you also can put full length movies on it i have a demo clip of
sin city on a 6260 send me a message at [email protected]

If it's with a wire to the phone, you're probably referring to the
    Nokia HS-6 headset
    http://www.nokia.be/uk/phones/enhanc...s-6/index.html

    or

    Nokia Radio Headset HS-2R
    http://www.nokia.be/uk/phones/enhanc...set/index.html

If the connection to the phone is wireless :

    Nokia Wireless Stereo Headset HS-12W
    http://www.nokia.be/uk/phones/enhanc...12w/index.html

    or

    Nokia Wireless Image Headset HS-13W
    http://www.nokia.be/uk/phones/enhanc...13w/index.html

This is werid about the phone RS-MMC, Right now i have install RS-MMC Single Voltage in my 6260, but i just read the manual for it and it says use Dual-Voltage. From looking at the back of the phone where the memory is placed. It looks like it takes only Single Voltage. Can anyone confirm that it takes Dual-Voltage also??? I can confirm it takes Single Voltage becuase im using it as of right now.
