6230I mp3 through Car Kit

Does anyone know whether it is possible to play the mp3's stored on my
6230i through my car kit? I figured that the phone would detect the
car kit the same way it detects headphones but as soon as I put it in
the cradle there is no sound (although on the screen it still plays).

I was just wondering whether there was a setting that I could change to
get it to work.

Works with my CARK-91 with the CA-55 adapter (or whatever the adapter
cable from CARK-91 to POP-port standard was called again).

I do nothing special. Just start the music player and it works OK.

Thanks for that perhaps I have missed something. The car kit was for my
old 7250i but I am figuring the connection is the same as it fits OK and
works for calls etc.

I'll have another go.

nokia - 6230 has music player itself but it plays only from phone memory
and not from memory card. Here it is problem because we can not store
songs in Phone memory.
