HELLO Guys!! Want a bit of help! I would like to know that is there a
software for Nokia 6600 that can extend the SMS alphabets Limit bcoz as
you know that 6600 gives only 160 as limit and hence that costs a lot!!
If Something can be done then please do tell me!!

Only solution I can think of Is like this.

The limit of 160 characters is not restricted to your Nokia 6600, it is
the limit on ALL phones. That is the SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE protocol and
it only allows for the 160 characters so that is all you can get.

That setting, as far as I am aware, is controlled by your service
provider? Maybe you should talk to them?

Simon, maybe I am missing something here? On my old 6310i and on my
Treo 650 I can send messages of 160 x 32 i.e 480 characters.
I notice receiving such length messages seems to present a problem
with the Palm Treo, whilst it did not with the old Nokia 6310i, for
some reason.

Each message of greater than 160 characters is split so that if you
send a 'message' of 480 characters it's sent as three separate
messages and consquently charged three times.
