Insert SIM message

I have a less than one week old 6230i that came up with "insert sim" after
it had been sitting around without network coverage for a few hours - don't
know why it didn't have network coverage but it should have. I fixed the
problem by turning the phone and off then on again.

Is the above a sign that the phone is a complete dud or is it just a minor
hiccup that is unlikely to be repeated.

that is nothing to worry about. it occurs to me from time to time, but i just pull the sim out and pop it back in. dont worry, theres nothing wrong with the phone
