    are you know a Symbian software to synchronize the phone's clock with a
    time server like "time.nist.gov"?

    Which phone do you have?. My Nokia 6680 has a auto update facility to get
    time from the phone companies network servers.

    Mine too - an N70 - but it mysteriously set itself back an hour on Friday
    morning and messed up my day completely as the alarm went off an hour later
    than it should have........

    I have a Nokia 6600; my phone and my operator don't support this
    option. :-(

    My phone operators do support this option but their time always around
    45 to 80 seconds behind my PC time which sync to one of the time
    servers operated by the US National Institute of Standards and
    Technology.

    Actually, 6600 supports the time sync, I think... there is the option
    in configure.
    Vodafone seems not, in Itlay, because it is my operator and my 6600
    does not sync at all...
