    Hi,
Is there a way to use mp3 as ringtones on a 6255i? I caught a slight topic
about unlocking it to do so but did not get enough information on how to do
    it.
    Thanks,
    Sharky

I don't know anything about "unlocking" the phone or why you might want to,
but all you have to do is get the mp3 into the phone, highlight the file in
memory, select "options" and select "set as ringtone".

    Try this... Settings...Profiles...Normal...Customize...Ringing
    Tone...Open Gallery...Music Files(or wherever you have your MP3's
    stored)

Not sure, but an MP3 may be too large a file to use for a ringtone. You
may need to use a utility program that creates a ringtone from a music
    file.
