Question about mp3 ringtones

I plan on making a few and putting them onto my 6102. My questions: 1.
How long should the ringtones be? 30 seconds, a minute? 2. At what kbps
should I encode them?

Well given that my phone only rings for 30 seconds before the voice mail
kicks in, 30 seconds is enough.

As for kbps, I use 128k but you could possibly get away with lower depending
on the quality of your phone speaker...
