hi,
i was wondering if it is possible copy all the fields of a contact to a
nokia n70 phone using nokia PC suite. the reason I ask is because I
have created several custom fields in my default contact form, since
the existing ones weren't sufficient for me.
thus for instance i might a contact named "Robert" who has a custom
field named "summer house phone number" as well as as a default outlook
one called "Home", both filled out. When I synchronise using the nokia
PC suite software, the contact is transferred, but only the second
field, not the first (which is weird, since on a nokia n70 you are able
to edit the names of the fields - therefore why is it not possible to
transfer an edited field from outlook?).
anyhow, was wondering if this is possible....

Re: custom outlook contact fields and nokia pc suite?
Hiya mate!
Yeah, it is possible to do this with PC Suite. You'll need to 'map
custom fields' before initialising the transfer. Then you can copy over
the fields OK.
No doubt Oxygen will be posting here telling you how good their
software is and it will do it automatically. Don't believe them!
They're just a spamming bunch of w*nkers who will try to sell you
something that you don't actually need, to do things you don't actually
want to do!
Cheers
Glenn

>From what I recall, you do it in Outlook. You can initialise the Synch
through an icon on the Outlook toolbar that PC Suite puts there (sorry,
been so long since I did it originally!!!).
