no voice with Tomtom 5.2 for Nokia 6600

Picked up an MMC card with Tomtom 5.2 for my Nokia 6600 and everything
works great EXCEPT voices.
All the voice files are in the Voice folder and sound is at 100% - but I get
nothing on 'Test' voice and no voice enroute.
Help !

All the voice files are in VOICES (not voice) folder, two files each
name: i.e DATA01.CHK and DATA01.VIF?

Have you selected a voice to be used? It may be that the system comes
without a voice pre-selected. It's in the menu's somewhere :-)

Are you sure you have the 'sounds' turned on in 'preferences'.

Ok, we're running out of options here. As well as having a voice
selected you also need to specify the language. How about that? Also,
does the voice match the language?

Another "just in case": are you using this navigation application
"standalone", expecting voice from the phone speaker? I'm running another
navigator application on my 6630 (S60 too) where voice guidance works
perfectly, except if I connect to a BT carkit (yes a pity, you would
normally want to use a carkit when using the navigation application). I
haven't tried a BT headset, could be the same.
