    Hi,

I can access WAP sites from my 6230i and would now like to establish
internet connection for my laptop, via a Bluetooth link. I currently
connect using a wireless home network Broadband connection, but would like
to also heve internet on my laptop, whilst out "on the road". What exactly
do I need to do? ISP is virgin broadband.

    Many Thanks

Easiest way would be installing Nokia Data Suite.
It has a wizard to help you get online.

Or you can install the bluetooth driver.
Personally I use IR (much easier than bluetooth)

Depending on your mobile provider, many of them have Internet
connection packages that you can download from their websites.

O2, for instance, uses a nifty connection manager, which enables you to
connect through cable, IR or bluetooth. You simply install it onto your
laptop & away you go. I use it regularly & it works fine for me.

Am using "Nokia Data Suite" 6.80.22. under Connectivity tab I see option fo
ISP's of which BT Mobile isn't one. I have user defned settigs available
    for:

    1) Access Point
    2) Username
    3) Password.

Any suggestions before I'm away for next week.

    Kind regards

Also, Nokia 6230i has option for "GPRS Connection" on always (does this
cost?, and user ,manual says, Access Point, Username, and Password.

Try set up your Nokia 6230i as a modem with bluetooth link to your PC. Make
a connection to dail up to internet. Dailing Number should be "*99#" try to
    see if it works.

    good luck.

    Sure, if you go to

    http://www.o2.co.uk/services/waystoc...onmanager0153/

That'll give you all the info. From what I can understand, most mobile
    providers use something similar.

Those depend on who your carrier is, and what kind of plan you have.
Some carriers require a user name and password, others don't. The
APN tells the phone where to connect for data, and is very carrier
    specific.
This has nothing to do with your ISP because you are not connecting
to them. You are using the Cell Phone carriers network to access the
internet. And the best place to get those is from your carriers web site.
