I'm often in noisy work areas or using headphones. I'd like
a phone that, when a call comes in, has a bright 'blink'
or flashing mode, so that it would be clearly visible.

(having the phone in my pocket in "vibrate" mode
    isn't a good option).

Anyone know of such a beast? needs to be GSM and USA t-mobile
    compatable.

    Size, weight, not critical.

    Thanks

At least all Nokia models keep the display lights flashing when a call is
    alerting.

The Motorola v3i has a flashing blue logo disk when ringing.

Having a phone that lights up in your pocket isn't much use either, is
    it?

that's not what he means. what other good idea can you think of letting some
one know their phone going off?

I know keep it on you and switch on vibrate. so I think I'm safe to say he
doesn't want to keep it on him. well not 100% of the time.

I don't have a link or can currently remember the supplier but I recently
saw a 'phone rest for all mobiles that lit up like an amusement park for
incoming calls even if the 'phone was in silent mode.

A possible option if you can leave the 'phone in an office or such place.

    Or

    Nokia 3220 ?

Are you deliberately trying to be obtuse, or was it just a piss poor attempt
    at humour?

Not at all. I just figured I'd answer back before
anyone suggested I set the phone to vibrate
and leave it in my pocket...

T-Mo used to carry the Nokia 3220. If you can't find one at T-Mo, you should
be able to get one on eBay:

Erm, yes, which is why I was replying to "Nigel Reed". You made your point

I've used a little accessory that can induct the signal of the mobile. When
there's a call coming in, it blinks. It's suitable for your situation I
think. You can put it outside while your mobile phone in bag.

Audiovox makes a nice flip phone that has a pleasing blue flash when
it rings. Its an overall pretty crappy piece of s*&t phone, but it
    sure looks nice.
