I have a Nokia 2865i on Alltel. I can successfully access GMail via
the WAP browser, and I downloaded the Java app onto my phone. The app
starts, but it never downloads anything and I get a certificate error.
When I checked the certificates available in my WAP browser, I see the
Verisign public certificate with the correct serial number specified
on http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...y?answer=52848. Are the
certs not shared between the WAP browser and the Java MIDP? Is there
any way to install the cert separately, upgrade the Java MIDP, or is
this something that's going to require a firmware upgrade?
