When I take a picture, I quite like to take another one fairly quickly
afterwards, I have never wanted to upload each photo one at a time to
    some blog site.
Why oh why does Nokia think this is a 'useful' feature.....

I'm sick of pressing 'no' 'cancel' '**** off' just to get back to photomode.

IS there any way of disabling this feature and making phone behave like
    a proper camera?

    Nope!

But I found this which works:

    "Ok, I fixed it

When the upload menu kept coming up, I selected 'more' and then options -
I never went further than this as there was a user agreement which had
to be accepted - I refrained from accepting it as I was concerned it
would then leave me open to big data transfer charges if I could not fix
the problem and the phone automatically or accidently started uploading
my photos to Orange web folder...

Fortunately, I did accept the agreement, and was then faced with a menu
of options (one of which was to disable auto prompt) -"

Annoying that you have to accept an agreement to stop being offered the
    application!

Nah, this one is a bit more onerous, you are agreeing to pay for
Orange webhosting and all the associated charges of uploading.
So you have to agree to pay before you can choose not to.

Bit like paying for a TV license just to tell them you haven't got a tv!

I watched Bedazzled the other night and it seems to me that Lucifer has
found new job at Orange, drawing up their customer contracts.

I've suffered the attentions TV Licensing and it can take a long time to
    make them go away.
