    I agree with you

8210 can't receive SMS longer than 160 characters.

You must limit to 160 or she change her phone...

Re: 8210 - long sms problem

When you send an extended message on a compatible phone to one like the
8210, it breaks the message up into three parts, and the message will
arrive with a text header like 'linked 1/2' and the second one would be
'linked 2/2'. I imagine her SMS memory on her phone may be nearly full
so only the first one gets through and the others don't. Perhaps the
message is timing out before the other one gets there, even if it is
emptied out. The 8210 had a very small SMS capacity.

Newer Nokia phones auto-read the headers and stitch it back up as one
(I know my 7650 does that).

no the sms comes to me but it is empty... without text... so it's not a
problem with sms memory or timeout

Well I have changed my Firmware V 5.29 to V5.04 from N8250 and also I have
    removed my Sim-lock, and:
When I put my sim-card (ERA GSM - close to vodafone) It works excellent
When I put her sim-card (IDEA - close to Frace Telecom) It doesn't

    So It's a SIM problem?
