I've just phoned the Nokia support line and they told me that sending logos,
SMS and ringtones through a serial cable was not a known use from Nokia -
i.e, made with no support for such a function. He said me I didn't need a
firmware update for my phone (bug in the Phonebook function - 3310 v4.18)
and didn't want to tell me the procedure to follow, 'cause it was an
"illegal" use ! I write it now 'cause I guess it would cause this kind of
software users & programmers to smile...
