Re: Nokia 3650 Turns Off By Itself

I had the same problems and T-Mobile could only issue an exchange phone
which also had the same problems. I finally contacted Nokia directly and
they instructed me to ship my phone to Florida for a warranty repair.
Turnaround was quick...5 days in total. T-Mobile reimbursed me for my
    shipping charges.

To my surprise, the fix was an upgrade of my firmware from 2.54 to 3.16!
For some reason, Nokia won't provide me with any details on the fixes,
enhancements, etc. in this new build. It did fix the problem where my phone
would either shut down or reboot for no reason and I now have my call
forward icon in the tools folder.

One interesting side-note: prior to the upgrade, I had tried and returned
the Jabra BT200 and the HBH-60 headsets due to numerous connection or
    functionality issues.

I optioned to try the HBH-35 last week and found it to work perfectly with
my 3650, including audio and voice command functionality superior to the
handset! Most callers can't tell I'm using a headset.

I wish I had kept the HBH-60 to see if 3.16 fixed any of the connection
problems. I've done some scanning of other newsgroups and found several
messages noting that paring problems with USB adapters were improved after
    upgrading from 2.54 to 3.16.

I'd be interested if anyone has found any detail on this new build???

Re: Nokia 3650 Turns Off By Itself

    Hi Seneca,

I have a few questions about sending it in. T-mobile wants me to send
the phone to them and not to Nokia. I want to know exactly what you
did so that I can get the correct service.

If you have an email address you can share, please write me at
    [email protected].

    Thanks very much,
    Gail
