is the only diff between ACP-7X and 8X chargers the speed of charging?
so using the 7X won't screw up my 6210 battery?

The ACP-7 is the standard charger supplied with the 6210, so no it won't
screw up your battery. The ACP-8 is the travel charger, so the difference is
it's slightly more lightweight and it's multi-voltage.

Re: dumb charger question
The ACP8 is not recommended for regular day to day use as it's kinda
overcharging the battery. Use the ACP7

Re: dumb charger question
Hi!
I have an ACP9E (6.2V DC, 720mA) for my Nokia Communicator and was wondering
how it would do if plugged to an Nokia 6210 or Nokia 5210 (the orange
rubbery one that had a lizard in the advertisement).
After all, overcharging isn't supposed to ruin the electrolyte, logically
speaking because the reaction would stop once the 'discharging' reaction has
been reversed.

Re: dumb charger question
THe ACP9 and ACP12 works well with my 5210 ...missed the
advertisement...wasted!!!
I have also tried it (5210) with a OEM "CELLMEX" car charger that gives out
4.0VDC +/- 5% according to the netmonitor menu 20/23

Re: dumb charger question
Hey, cool!
I tried charging a Nokia 2100 with my ACP9E charger and its gives it a hell
of charge! It takes much less time than the original charger.
BTW, the 2100 is a very economical phone if you want something that looks
cool too. If I ever go places where my phone can get stolen, I just take my
2100 along.
