From what I know, it would have to be done one at a time, unless you
have a cable or infrared hookup to a PC or laptop. You can then download the
free Nokia PC Suite from the Nokia web site @
http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/software/6340i, and synch your address books.

The cables can be found here (you need the DLR-3P). And you may want the
DCH-8D, so you don't have to connect/disconnect cables to the phone.

If you want infrared (IrDA), and don't already have it, you can find it
    here.

I don't see the 6340i listed at that link as one of the phones which
    can use this cable.

It is listed on the Nokia Web site as being compatible with the 6340i.
The Nokia Web site also has the DCH-8DP Connectivity Kit, which includes the
cable and stand together. Check it out here:
    http://www.nokiausa.com/nokia_access...424,70,00.html

I bought my cable (DLR-3P) and stand (DCH-8D) separately, because at
that time, it cost less than buying the DCH-8DP Connectivity Kit direct from
Nokia, although you may want to re-compare it, as Nokia is currently having
    a sale.

That's probably the reason. You may have to get a third party registry
cleaner, or contact the software vendor (Ericsson?) to see if they can help.

What have you tried so far, as to un-installing the software?

    Fred,

    try this:
your phone uses a SIM card. put all the numbers into one phone, copy the
numbers to the SIM. remove the SIM and put it into the second phone. copy
numbers from SIM to phone. put SIM cards back into original phones. both now
    have the same listing......

Try using Add/Remove programs in Control Panel, and looking for related
programs. The Ericsson modem monitor may have been installed as a different
program. I am not familiar with the Ericsson software, so it is just an
    educated guess.
The fact that you are still seeing the Ericsson modem monitor, would
    almost definitely cause a problem.

    6340i address book

My wife and I have the same model phones. Instead of us plugging the same
phone numbers into both phones, is there a way to point the two phones at
each other and copy the list? I see you can copy one file at a time, but can
you do the whole list at once?

I have a DLR-3P cable but I can't get my PC to recognize it. They tell me it
is because I have a software already loaded for my old Ericsson phone.
Problem is I can't get the Ericsson software un-installed.

I've tried the Uninstall programs option, I've tried using the "Uninstall
Ericsson" link in the program, and I have even tried running McAfee
uninstaller. I still see the Ericsson modem monitor in the computer.
