I am considering 6310i after returning 6610, which was my first Nokia phone.
Motorola has useful setting - ring then vibrate. 6610 did not have it, and
I wonder if 6310i has it. The online manual is not clear on that.

    Thanks.

No it doesn't, unfortunately. However if you set the ringing to ascending
it is almost as good. IMHO the 6310i is the best phone I've ever had; no
flashy gimmicks, it does what it says on the tin..!

I want a non-flip triband, which Motorola does not make (except older types,
like Timeport series and P280). I am switching from Motorola because
battery life sucks. My P7389i lasts only 3 days with light usage.

Not sure if this answers your question, but I se that the 6310i does not do
it. I have the 6340i and it rings and vibrates at the same time.

not sure if this is what you're after, but with the 6310i you can set a
profile to ring once and vibrate, so I guess this would do what you're want.

btw, the big point with this phone is the excellent battery life.

    No, it doesn't.

But for that reason I use "attraction" ringtone (would like persuation
back ...) with climbing loudness and vibration. It is rare if I here
the tone before I feel the vibration.
