I too was interested in the 6090 and I got a copy of Nokia's leaflet on
it, which I have here now. It is certainly useful, it has the ability to
hold 2 SIM cards, one inaccessible to the user in the main unit, and one
that can be inserted into a slot in the handset, the idea being that a
company could have phones in its vehicles and the drivers could insert
their own personal SIM cards to make personal calls without using the
company airtime.
The only drawback I can see is that unless I'm mistaken it appears to be a
single band (900 MHz only) phone, so would be useless on my 1800 MHz
(Orange UK) network.

Info Request: A cell phone that won't melt in my car?
Can you recommend a phone whose best features include ability to
withstand the sun or the heat? Lately it's been especially humid and
hot and I am concerned that whatever second phone I choose, will
"melt" or overheat.
I want to keep an additional cellular phone exclusively in my car. It
doesn't have to be small or sophisticated, just indestructible by heat
or sunlight.
I've always had trouble with forgetting to disconnect my cellular
phone from the car adapter to bring up to my apartment. Then
remembering to take it with me when I go out is hard too because I'm
usully running late and forget.
Or does anybody know of a container that might sheild my phone from
heat?
Thanks, New
