Latest Nokia 6310 firmware?

Hi,

can anyone tell me what is the latest firmware for the Nokia 6310? I'm
waiting a iPaq 5455 with bluetooth wich I'd like to use to connect to
my 6310. I read somewhere that the bluethoot on the 6310 are not very
good. Is there anyone one using it with an iPaq sucesfully?

Yes, I'm using Bluetooth with my 6310i and iPAQ 2210 successfully. Only
problem is I find I need to soft reset the iPAQ most times before it will
connect to GPRS.

I think the OP may be on a 6310 - does that work as well as the i?
BTW I had a 6310 working with an ipaq before - don;t know how but it
took me a while.

Hi,
I am fairly certain the latest version is 5.5. just upgraded to a 6310i
and bought an iPAQ 5500 and they work very well now. Was a ***** to set up
and don't even consider calling HP tech support as they know zilch, just
read extracts to you from documents to you that are freely available on
their website. Seems odd that they have no in depth knowledge of their
latest products. O2 (cellular service provider in the UK) were very helpful
and put me on the right track. The bottom line is you will need some info
from your service provider to configure it correcrly. Any probs, drop me a
line and I will e-mail a 'walk through' of how I did it.
