As they are supposed to when re-flashing a handset. When they flash it,
they will flash three areas of the 6610 - MCU, PPM & the content package.

Re: Backing up my Java games
The problems are:
1. The Handphone will automatically switch itself off. Happens even during a
conversation
2. On the screen, it shows "Sim Card Rejected" and/or "Insert Sim Card" ..
Sometimes it happens with the reception bar showing full strength.
3. Most recent. The vibrator stopped vibrating, on a few occasions.
Have been to Nokia Care Center 5-6 times. Each time coming back with the
same problem within a week, sometimes within 48 hrs. On one occasion, the
manager suggested that it could be the sim card's problem. So I ask my ISP
to exchange it for a new one. The problem remained. On another occasion,
they said they'll take the phone in to test for 3 days, they called me the
very next day to say it's ready for collection. I have also called Nokia
CareLine, their manager after having spoken to the Care Center's manager say
they (Nokia Care Center) couldn't find any fault with it. She even suggested
that I take my phone in, again, for those useless tests to be done. Of
course I ignored that "advise". To me, it's a total waste of time.

If it was just the first problem, I'd proably suggest that it sounded like a
firmware problem. However, given the other problems you're having, it
sounds a little more serious than that. Is there any chance that any water
or condensation has got into the phone? If not, given the amount of times
it's been back to the service centre, I'd try pushing for a replacement
handset.

Re: Backing up my Java games
No water or condensation ... i mean if it were, the problem shouldn't have
return with the same problems anyway. And i did try to push for a
replacement, they just said that they did not have that policy. I live in
singapore, incase u want to know.
