Incoming calls on my 6510 are only identified with the number rather than
the name assigned to this number in the address book. The manual doesn't
mention anything about caller id but I am sure that there must be a way to
show the name rather than the number.

    Any help appreciated.

I had the same problem when I initialized my 6510 by downloading all my
    contacts.

After many (many) tries, I realized that one record was not correct
(some " lost in the phone number..); after deleting the contact it
worked well. I believe the search function stop when finding an
    incorrect record.

Try to clear all your numbers...

Sorry, just caught the end of this thread. As far as I know, on all Nokia
phones, if you have the same number in your Sim card and in your phone
memory and if your phone set to use "Phone and Sim" memory then it only
shows the number. This is the default setting for the newer Nokia phones. It
also sets to this setting every time you change Sim cards. Try setting the
phone to use just phone memory in the contacts options.
