6310i worked for 6 months no problem – I bought it new, it was
unlocked form T-Mobile and worked perfectly on O2.
Then it came up with "Sim not registered"
Been back to approved Nokia repair centre (Carphone warehouse) 4 times
    – The SIM works OK with other phones and has also been replaced by O2.

Each time it came back, given a different repair answer – new battery
contact, new Sim contacts, new software (now 5.5) ………. But still won't
    work with O2 …

On one occasion returned with message advising it was Blacklisted.
However o2 confirm there is no blacklisting restriction on this
    handset.

3 weeks ago I asked for it to be sent to Nokia – it went to CRC in
Nottingham, returned today – works on T-mobile, when I got it unlocked
for any network – once more back to ""Sim not registered"

Anybody any clue how to fix this, or how I can successfully escalate
this to Nokia …. It's under warranty and now been without this for 8
    weeks.

    Re: 6310i Sim not registered

Interesting. I was looking for 6310i on ebay, and several of them were
auctioned with a disclaimer that they would work on any network except O2.
