Hi all,
I had a Nokia 3360 which had an infra-red port to be able to download
contacts from my PDA onto my mobile without having to key them in. Now I
have "up-graded" to a Nokia 3560 and it seems that this function has been
dropped. Does anyone know how to "download" contacts onto the Nokia 3560
without having to key them in individually?
Thanks,
VG

Went through the same thing; I really like the phone, but miss the IR.
There are data cables for this model available on ebay. Just do a
search for nokia 3560....

Re: Downloading Contacts to Nokia 3560
The only way to update contacts on 3560 is to use technological F-Bus cable
(115200 bit/s, full duplex), which connects under the phone's battery.
Please, note: this type of connection is unofficial, therefore, it may be
recognized as the reason for cancelling warranty in official Nokia service
centre.
As far, as we know, there are no such cables for data synchronization with
PDA, but you may be able to find such dongles for data synchronization with
PC. Anyhow, our program supports phonebook synchronization for this phone.
You can evaluate this feature with the latest trial ver. 2.1.8
