I'm trying to dial using the DLR3P cable and the GSM modem and need to
force a v42bis error correction conection.

However, the +DS=3,1,2048,20 doesn't seem to do this. I've set +DR=1
to show error correction when the connection is made, and it just
keeps coming back as +DR: NONE. The remote modem INSITS on error
correction mode, and won't talk to me unless this is true. It's also
2400,7,e,1 to boot!! This latter bit isn't a problem (anymore - thanks
John)

OK - so - anyone got any ideas?
