I have a 6610, The box it came in said 6610, the manual that came with it
said 6610 and the sticker behind the battery said 6610. Yet when I connect
it to my pc using Logo Manager or Nokia pc suite it tells me it's a 7210.

If anyone can tell me why this is? I would be most grateful.

They are basically the same phone (on the inside) but are different. It
doesn't matter therefore if it says that it is a 7210 becasue everything
    will still work fine.

The 6610 and 7210 have the same software. The hardware is almost identical
    as the 7210.

no thats not why the software recognises it as the wrong phone. I
forget the correct answer but Logomanager support did post it on here
once and it is not due to incorrect flashing.
