    Hi

I'd really appreciate some help with the following problems (A few):

Voice Dialing: When I open a contact, and click Add Voice Tag, the recorder
opens, I click record and it plays the tone(to indicate to start talking)
like it should. But, when I click stop, it just beeps, and doesn't give me
the option to save the voice tag, so the voice dialing does not work... Any
    Ideas?

Moving Ringtones: When I open Recorder, and mark all my tones (on the phone
memory), and click options, send to memory card, it starts sending, but then
says "Unable to move "number" items" where number is the number of items
I'm trying to move. Also, I THINK it's still saving new ring tones I d/l to
the phone memory, even though I have memory in use set to Memory card for
    the recorder program...

Picture Messages: Why can't I send normal or old style picture messages to
my old Nokia 3210, even pic messages that I sent to my new phone from my old
one? Is there a specific method? I use new message>text>insert picture

Sync: In the manual, it says there should be a icon called Sync in the
Connectivity menu, with Infra Red, Modem and BlueTooth... I don't have
    Sync... Any ideas?

Video Sound: When I first got my phone, I recorded video, and it recorded
sound with the video... Now I read in the manual that the Vid recorder does
not record sound, and I can't get mine to record sound like it USED to...
    Weird...

I know it's a lot to ask, but I really am getting frustrated with these
    problems.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Me

Don't click stop. The system will stop automatically. When you hear the
beeps to begin, begin speaking. When you're done, stop, and the system will
    automatically stop.

The rest of the options you have (you lucky dog) aren't offered by our
service provider (Alaska is still, in many ways, so far behind the times but
for most of us, we don't mind)...so I'm clueless!

    Hi

Thanks for your reply. I tried that, but it says "Voice Tag Too Long, Try
Again?" when I let it stop by itself. I'm going to the shop that sold it to
me, and I'll ask them. I'm not holding my breath though! Will let you know
    what happens.

    Thanks Kim,

Re: PLEASE HELP, NOKIA 3650 QUESTIONS

    Hey again Kim

    Well, turns out:

    1) You can't send the old style pic messages to a 3210 from a 3650, software
    incompatible.
    2) The Sync menu in Connectivity only appears when you attach a cable
    between 3650 and pc.
    3) Voice Dialing works fine. The problem was my stupid cell phone POUCH, the
leather was covering the Microphone!!! Doh!
    4) As to the moving ringtones to Memory card, and the Video Recorder not
recording sound, they say that I will have to send my phone in for
"Servicing" haha, cmon, call a spade a spade! It has to be fixed! And it's 2
weeks old! Well, it's had a good run I suppose, still, thought I'd get more
out of it hehe. Seriously though, I'm really pissed off with the whole
business, but this is nothing new to me, I'm cursed...

Thanks for the help anyway, sure I'll see you around the group.
    Take care,
Me (without my cell phone from tomorrow )

Re: PLEASE HELP, NOKIA 3650 QUESTIONS

    OMFG!

    Ok, here's the latest...
Took my phone in, and luckily (since I had no idea), it was still the last
day of my 2 week special guarantee period, so they just gave me a brand new
phone. So, I'm happy.. When I got home though, I found out what caused the
OLD phone to not record sound on the video recorder...
When I got my OLD phone, It had a menu item on it called "something,
possibly Box" Installer, which when you clicked, installed about 6
applications. These I found were really crap, so I wiped them off, using App
Manager. I didn't realise that there was already one Application on the
phone originally, which was "Video Recorder Control". I wiped that off
    unknowingly, which caused the problem.

I'm not going back to tell them it was that, cos they can't do much now, and
they should have seen it when they checked my phone out...

I do have one other question. How do you see what firmware your phone is
running, and when you get it upgraded, does it wipe your phone memory? I
hate setting up phones, so if it does, will a phone back up on the memory
    card be the best option?

    Thanks...
    Regards,
    DumbAss
