I've just bought a new 6100 and been sent a 'generic' portable hands free
set.
It would appear to just push into the pop port, but there would appear to be
no button to disengage the metal claws that hold the thing in place.
Is this normal for this type of thing? I don't want to damage the phone.
I'm moving up from a 3330 which simply had a jack plug.

just pull it out, pushing downward on the side with the wire to disengage
it. pulling it straight out will not damage the phone.
