I have a 9210i on Orange HSCD Data and connect successsfully to the Internet
    through Freeserve No Ties.

However, I cannot send email! I have tried everything recomended in this
forum and at my.symbiam.com to no avail.

Does anyone out there have the same combination of 9210i, Orange and
Freeserve? What are your settings for email?

Anyone else on an Orange Data contract? Which ISP and what email setting do
    you use?

    Thanks

    Trevor

    Can you receive email?
If so, your problem is probably the standard email problem, not specific to
    your hardware/software.
You can pick up your email from wherever (hotmail, BT Openworld etc.) but
you can only send email via the Freeserve email server. This is your
    outgoing mail/SMTP connection.
Confirm you have your outgoing mail server configured correctly.

P.S. I use Orange HSDC to BT Openworld and Nildram over Bluetooth and a
    6310i from my portable.

Yes, it is correct. Receive via Netidentity (my email providor) but sedn
via smtp.freeserve.com. Maybe it's because I've set it to HSCD digital?
