I have been noticing alotta of confusion comments between different Forums
about using WAP and Free Public Gateways. So I threw this together on Howard
Forums and then decided to put it on my page. Hope it helps some people, and
saves some people some $$. Includes details on setting your Verizon phone up
to "Surf The WAP" for FREE ( WAP access does use your plan's minutes)

To learn how to use your Verizon CDMA Phone with Browser on WAP for FREE

Thanks for the simple instructions. I've been trying to set this up
for a few days. It took 5 minutes from your page.

Mywaplink doesn't seem to have any privacy policy:-(
    Very Limited UK/European WAP pages.
Handset won't identify mmm.mywaplink as a valid URL. Still seem to
    have to enter a password.

Sent the ""send a Link to a friend" to myself and am now getting
German language SPAM from the Netherlands for the first time....

Cant help ya there.I will say that , unfortunately, the majority of these
sites are small time operations, in many cases done as a hobby. Shy of
securing EMAIL address's, this site, as you may see, is ad and banner free
and doesnt appear to me to be anykind of big profit maker. It also doesnt
appear to be really well used. I just happened to stumble across it and
found it served my purposes really well and thought I would pass it on.. WAP
had an original growth period, mostly in Europe, then died, I have spent
some time searching these places out, and found a very small percentage, of
which most seem to be "Just There". In closing, and in regards to your
Privacy Policy concern, although I cant speak for the developer, I just dont
think A. He felt it was an issue b.Wasnt really concerned or felt there was
a need. Alot of these guys adopt the "I threw this up for you to use FREE of
charge. I maintain the site, pay for the equipment and bandwith. You can
choose to use it, and if you dont like how I run it. Delete your account and
    SEE YA! LOL

    > Very Limited UK/European WAP pages.

Dont understand how they have anything to do with what pages you look at.
They are just a Page that you build and holds a bunch of URLs for you, you
are still using your own Gateway to get where you are going. Please clarify
if I am not getting the point.

    > Handset won't identify mmm.mywaplink as a valid URL. Still seem to

Did you use your personal access URL?. That has to be used or you will
always need to type your Password.

    > Sent the ""send a Link to a friend" to myself and am now getting

I have used that link several times to send to friends. Have not had any
SPAM problem nor feedback from others. Sorry to hear that though. I'd
appreciate additional feedback should it continue or even if it appears to
    be an isolated incident.

Also, here is another one, same type of deal found it just laying around.
Had news on it, last entries from 2002 LOL. I even spent some time updating
the news. Its a nice setup. Lets you communicate amongst other membere, has
the My Link Section, see what ya think of this one. WAP terror
http://www.wapterror.de Please feel free to contribute. I have been
incontact with the owner and trying to get him motivated. This site has
    potential.
