I am trying to install Logomanager (1.31 and 1.30 tried both and registered)
onto a Win95B computer (namely an intel 486DX2-66 laptop) Toshiba Model
T2130CT
Upon installing LM131 it detects the phone during the COM setup but at the
end of the install it says;
"Error installing communication layer
One of the library files needed to run this application cannot be found"
Ive downloaded the VB6 Runtime files off your site and installed it
Rebooted the computer but still the same.
When I run Logomanager after the install
first dialog box comes up
'Logomanager
Error accessing component'
Then the Logomanager program appears but with a dialog box saying
'Unable to access communications layer
Please reinstall Logomanger using the setup tool'
Then logomanager doesnt read my phone no matter what cable settings I use.
Remember it did read the phone during the Test install of Logomanager.
And I have used other Nokia programs to read the phone, just seems
Logomanager doesnt like which communication layer?, since my laptop does not
have IR, I assume its falling there and the fact its Win95B? Im assuming
here.
Anyone with any ideas?
