I currently have a 6610, great phone and all but one slight problem.
The call quality can be pretty poor when speaking to someone (the
coverage is very good where i am - south yorkshire, england).
I have used a 7650, panasonic gd87, 6100 and these are a lot clearer
i have found.
has anybody else got this 'problem' with their 6610?
TIA,
Chris

My 6610 also on 02 pay and go is great - far better than any other phone
I've had - 3210,3310,6310,7210...
What firmware version have you got? Mine's V4.18.

The latter is rather interesting, since the 7210 is hardware identical fo
the 6610 apart from the keypad. Unless it's software releated or something
with the cover the audio quality should be identical.

Re: 6610 Sound Quality in calls ??
The 7210 I had for a while had the latest firmware on it (V5.02?). The
difference surprised me considering they are the same phone technically.
Does firmware really make a big diffference to sound quality? If it
doesn't, I can't explain why the 6610 was better than the 7210!

No idea. But the firmware in the 6610 and the 7210 is the same (due to the
identical hardware) so it would have to be a difference in revision
