    Worth checking two things with MobiMB:
    (1) manually configure to the COM port by double-clicking on the
    connection
    (2) push the cable end (where it holds the battery) firmly down into
    the phone

    it check the configuaration, on which do you have the cable, and what are
    you selecting with that port?
