Just try to set IRDA data transfer rate to 115200 bit/s from infrared
    connection properties. Does this function?

Just seems to be an error either with the 6310i or Microsoft Windows
that gives a timeout on the IRda while waiting for dialback. Really
annoying. No one at work has got it working - so we use a cable :-)

When I just dial-up (to my own ISP) it works great using IrDa.
