I was browsing the web for a good deal for Nokia 3650 with T-mobile.
To my surprise I saw that for teh same brand new phone and service the
prces varies widely. What is the catch here.
1. Directly from T-mobile - 149.99 with a 1 yr contract of 39.99/mo
plan
2. Freecellphonesguy (
http://www.freecellphonesguy.com/fre...nokia-3650.cfm
) - 25 $ cash back with a 1 yr contract of 39.99/mo plan
3. Lowermybills ( http://www.letstalk.com/product/prom...1&pgId=100&mt=
) - free with a 1 yr contract of 39.99/mo plan
4. Ebay - ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=41353
) free with a 1 yr contract of 39.99/mo plan
If I go with these small guys ( Freecellphonesguy though the best
deal, sounded very unprofessional when I spoke to them ), will I be
left at their mercy to get proper service.
Is there a commonly accepted www site to get the best deal on cell
phones.
Also looking at the features, Nokia 3650 sounded like the one I need.
Is there anything bad about this phone.
Thanks a lot for reading

a) 1-2 days nominal battery life, unlike the minimum 4-5 days I can squeeze
out of my 9210 under normal usage :-)
b) low memory onboard
c) lousy keypad. why not get the 3620/3660 (which one depends on ur
country - one is GSM900&1800 Europe+Asia another is GSM1900 American)
d) nokia 7200 is coming out...which makes the 3650 look very big and
"useless"...(no offense)

You have to shop all over the Internet as the promotions vary by
company and time.
I have used http://www.tm.intelenetwireless.com/at times as generally
good deals.
The independent dealers can offer anything as a phone promo as their
profit comes from you contracting for phone time. It is very complex
to determine the actual phone cost to the dealer as besides profit
margin on the phone there is the dealers tax base, the distributator
to dealer discount and gross phone sales done by the dealer. I have a
associate who is a cell phone dealer and I was told that in most cases
the phone is a zero cost to the dealer after adjustments. But watch
out for the accessories they are at a 200-1000% mark up and rarely
discounted.

Check out Amazon, and tighten your seatbelt. You get the Sony/Ericsson T610
and a Jabra Bluetooth Freespeak -- all free. That's more or less $300 in
hardware for a plan that might cost $480/year.
Amazing!
