Voda's helpdesk really came up with the goods today. Here are their WAP
settings via GPRS:
Data bearer: GPRS
Access point name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
User name: wap
Prompt password: no
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: http://live.vodafone.com
Advanced settings:
Phone IP address: Automatic
Primary name server: 0.0.0.0
Second. name server: 0.0.0.0
Proxy server address: 212.183.137.012
Proxy port number: 8799
I also set up an IMAP4 email access point:
Connection name: Mail
Data bearer: GPRS
Access point name: internet
User name: web
Prompt password: No
Password: web
All other basic/advanced settings as per above. You need another access
point for MMS but all this took two hours with ringbacks and I ran out of
time.
Early adopters - isn't it fun?
Hope this helps.

Hi
I am with freeserve and they sent me a sms message that set my 6600 phone up

Maybe your isp can do the same.

My ISP is Freedom2Surf, but my IMAP is a MyRealbox account. I'll ask them.
