    Hi,

Has anybody had any expreience installing the nokia car kit (the one
with car radio mute, charging and ignition sense)? The kit includes
    Handsfree unit HFU-4
    Mounting plate MKU-1
    External HF speaker HFS-12
    Microphone HFM-8
    Power cable PCU-4
    System cable SCU-4

Is this hard to install? It recommends professional installation but I
am fairly competent at wiring. Does it require drilling holes in my
dash board if I want a discrete installation? Does the kit usually
    come with installation instructions?

    Thanks for any advice

    Chris

    It's very simple...4 wires!!!!

    and instructions are normally included.

The main "brain" is labelled too so you can't plug aything into the wrong
    place

the cradle needs to be mounted to something solid so this generally means
drilling holes in the console somewhere

http://www.dashmount.co.uk Do brackets that mean you don't hace to drill the
    dash to fit the cradle
