    Hi all.

I've done a Google Search to see if anyone's asked this question, but found
nothing. I've bought a Dashmount bracket for my car (MK3 Golf 1996) in order
to fit a CARK91 kit. The bracket fits close to the central air vent. I'm
wondering how to run the cable/loom without having to drill any holes. Any
ideas.... perhaps someone has done this type of install before?

    Thanks in advance.

I managed to fit both of my car kits without drilling any holes. I mounted
the holder in the passenger footwell where the passenger's right knee would
nearly be (if that makes sense). The speaker directly behind it. I managed
to fit the brains of the unit behind the plastic that covers the centre
console and surrounds the gear stick area etc. The cables can all be ran
into joins or ends of the panelling so no holes were drilled for the cables.
The wire to the aerial I ran up behind the glove box and up the windscreen
pillar to the top left corned of the windscreen. The only holes I drilled
where to mount the holder, but it's fitted onto a small plastic panel that
only costs about Ł8 to replace.

    Hi Adam.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like the best way is to run a cable through the
ends of panels then. hopefully be attacking it this weekend.

    cheers
