Hello all,
I am looking at the 3585i on a ten day trial. I really really need a
piercing ear splitting ringtone like I currently have on my 5180
namely, City Bird. I posted a couple of requests on a Bulletin board
and no replies yet. I want to know if it is possible with PC Suite
and/or other electro-technical wizardry to have the piercing ring tone
I need never mind if sounds exactly like the City Bird tone. Also, how
flexible is the 3585i in terms of personalizing or changing factory
defaults. If you wouldn't use a 3585i if they paid you what phone
would you suggest for customizing, playing with etc., in addition to
actual phone service? One last one - how is the 3585i on reception in
buildings, parking decks etc.? Thanks to anyone who can help with
this.

I have the 3589i on Verizon, which I think is a very similar phone.
I've heard that PC Suite will not upload ringtones to the 3589i (I have the
cable and the software but haven't tried yet). I've also heard that
to upload ringtones, you can do it with MobiMB, which you can download
online for about $22.
FYI, my 3589i has terrific reception.
