    Hi group,

My wifes 3410 has developed a couple of problems all of a sudden. Firstly,
the screen occasionally displays random characters and gobbledegook and will
not respond to any key presses. Removing the battery seems to effect a
    temporary cure.
Secondly, it keeps switching itself off.
Anyone got any suggestions as it is just out of warranty by a month.
    Cheers
    Speck.

    Re: 3410 Problem

    1. Water got in it?
    2. Eeprom data been corrupted - bad download, wap setting?
    3. Dropped?

If hardware, buy a new one and unlock it - they're an excellent, cheap
    phone - http://www.unlocksmith.com
If sw could be fixed, but UK law prevents eeprom IMEI tampering in any form,
even to repair... Nokia problem here.
