7250i

hi,
i've got nokia 7250i, and i've bought DKU-5 datacable.
i instaled it's drivers and nokia pc suite software.
but, when I start Nokia Connection Manager, it can't find my phone. (it's
connected offcourse)
any ideas?

It will only work with a genuine Nokia date cable!

When you start the connection manager, click on the serial port icon (the
one on the far left) From the drop down menu go thru the different COM ports
till you find yhe one that your pc has assigned to your DKU-5. Your phone
will show up

Have you FIRST installed the software for the DKU-5 cable and afterwards
PC-Suite ?
When the software for the DKU-5 cable is installed, connect your cable to
the PC and GSM, then install PC-Suite ...

Your GSM will be found then ...

Which PC-Suite did you use? The one supplied on CD-ROM? If so: download the
latest PC-Suite for 7250i on the Nokia-website ...
The latest firmware of the 7250i requires PC-Suite 5.16 ...

i downloaded PC Suite 5.16, and driver for DKU-5 (13. 10. 2003.), done as u
said (first install drivers, then plug in the cable, and then PC Suite), and
still nothing.
