    I know the I500 won't do it. The original poster asked=20
    about the *A* 500. Not a Palm-powered device.

    I have an I-500 from Sprint and it doesn't accept ringtones because the PDA
    portion runs most of the phone functions, not the phone itself. Level 2
    support will confirm this.
