Two carriers that some analysts predict could be most hurt by customer
defections--AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS--unveiled new services to keep
    customers or lure new ones.

AT&T revamped its wireless data network to make its service the industry's
fastest. Sprint weighed in with a walkie-talkie feature that enables a user to
push a button to talk to someone.

While the AT&TWireless EDGE rollout was "nationwide" it won't be
"systemwide" until mid-2004. That may peeve quite a few people. Will
they offer "all you can eat" from your phone for $15/month? That's
another big question for AT&T Wireless.

I'll have to see a map of where EDGE will be deployed to see if I
could get service where I've already gone with my SPCS phone as a
modem. I know I've used SPCS' data service in places that Verizon
Wireless doesn't have service (Savannah, Georgia, for example).

Phil, you are on a roll with the aliases. Funny thing is that one can
nearly always tell it is from you. Nobody here gives a crap what you have
to say, because you have said it so many times before and lied in an attempt
to support your position. You are a liar, a fraud and an otherwise
    worthless member of this forum.

Veldhaus - Insulting people will not help SprintPCS gain customers from WLNP,
indeed it makes SprintPCS look real bad when they see what sort of apologists
    are out there.

And if AT&T has problems that does not make SprintPCS a better carrier.

Next week is WLNP when Sprint's churn rate will go through the roof. Watch and
    see.
