They'd better hurry up! I already switched to t-mobile just for the SE T610
BT phone. I don't think I'm the only one, especially now the # is portable
    when you switch.

Someone on the AT&T group complained his LCD screen spontaneously broke on his
SE T616 and AT&T wouldn't do anything about it.

I'm testing out the T610 myself. I have been a sprint customer since 1996
but damn this with no good phones. I have 12 more days to make up my mind
and I'm going to drill sprint to see what's up with the 608, if they can't
give me anything good then i'm taking my number and bouncing. So far the
T-610 is very nice and the speeds are not bad either, not as fast as my
cf2031 card but on my pocketpc the connection is good.

I was a SPCS customer since '98 and had four phones (I still had an old
family plan of $10 per phone). I was tired of waiting for Bluetooth and now
have jumped ship to TMO and currently using the the T610. So far, a very
sweet phone. I put my wife and kids on VirginMobile since they rarely use
their phones and so far, everyone is quite happy.

I was just informed by a friend that works at the PCS store here in
Kissimmee that the T608 will be available in PCS stores. All stores
may not carry them but they will be here.

AT&T just dropped prices again. The SE T616 is now straightup FREE
no mail in rebates required. And its available now.

And your point is? My service isn't with AT&T and right now I'm not
interested in paying a termination fee to end my contract just to go
    somewhere else.

    Re: T608 imminent ??

If you got $40,000 for a Chrysler Pacifica, then SprintPCS might sell
    you a T608 for $229.

The T608 doesn't have an internal camera. Its more like the T220
    series, whereas
the T610 and the T616 have a bigger screen with 25% more pixels, built
    in camera,
and if bought from 3rd party dealers like
http://www.intelenetwireless.com, the rebate is more than the price of
the phone, and you could use that money towards any ETF, but check the
web and make sure SprintPCS hasn't improperly altered your termination
    date.
They have been known to slide it forward to the end of a billing
period, which is grounds for getting out of your contract.

From Cingular you can buy the clip on electronic flash for $29.99 for
    a T610 or T616

Oh boy! I gotta run to another company now. That way, I can have the
Bluetooth features I really want and need AND a useless camera that I
could care less about. When they start selling a phone that will
provide hot coffee, let me know. I'll jump companies again for that.

If I wanted a larger screen, I'd get a Treo and then I'd even have a
usable keyboard. My phone is just that, I don't play games on it, I
don't surf the web on it and I have a digital camera and a PDA. I
didn't get a cell phone for any use other than to use as a phone.
