SprintPCS is notoriosu for dropping calls. I have been very
frustrated by this and Googled to see if others had similar problems.
What I found was a website detailing how to get a credit/refund
everytime you have a call dropped!!!
Here is the site: http://www.copperdog.org/misc/pcs.htm
All I want to know is why in the hell does SprintPCS not publicize
this? To me it would be one hell of a marketing deal to keep
customers!

Re: If you use SprintPCS you MUST READ THIS!
way kewl !! Web site says:
Call *2 on your SprintPCS phone (calls customer solutions)
* When greeted by "Claire" (their automated customer service system) and
asked what you need help with, simply reply "Dropped Call Credit"
* Sprint will then credit your account 1 minute of airtime at the highest
local rate, usually $0.50
The rep went on to tell me "this was permissible for up to 20 times per billing
cycle.” Do the math and you will see that it will save you $10.00 per bill.
Additionally, if you have a family share plan you can repeat this for each
line, saving you an additional $10.00 per line during each billing cycle. The
rep stated that even she "does this every month, regardless of whether or not
she has had 20 dropped calls. It saves [her] $10.00 per month!”
Kinda makes me wish I had known about this sooner given the large number of
dropped

So if you don't have dropped calls, you'll still have no problems calling in
and saying you did anyhow?
(Note that I'm not arguing that you shouldn't get credit for dropped calls.
You definitely should. I'm just wondering if you're agreeing with EVERYTHING
you quoted, or just the first part.)

Sure sounds like you have a financial stake in SprintPCS.

If he gets service from them, he does. Every leech that takes advantage of
this without having dropped calls eventually increases the price of
service.

Why, because I don't believe that people should lie in order to get credits
off their bills?
Ok. Well, I will assume that since you intentionally avoided answering the
question, that you would have no problem claiming dropped calls when you have
none.
If you had any interest in honestly answering the question, you would have.

My point exactly. He'll stoop as low as possible to get everything he can
get (whether deserved or not).

Yes....vzw is automatic to the point that when a call drops, if you call
the same number in like what a minute? You get a one minute credit.
Not automatic in the sense that Claire automaticly gives you credit...

So Steven, somebody with decent ethics (unlike yourself) means that they
have a financial interest in Sprint PCS? Get real.

You are kidding about not knowing this right? The person who likes to
think he is the all knowing god of Sprint did not know how to shave
$10 off his bill every month? You really are a dolt.

I think I recall in a past thread that one of the many faces of Steven
saying that Sprint is paying him to user their service, after he negotiated
a sweetheart deal -- or some such stuff. If that's indeed the case I'm not
sure how much better he can do than free as I'm pretty sure they wont send
him a monthly check to carry their phone.
Now they might if he took advantage of porting, and left with the promise of
not saying another word here ---- but none of us would be THAT lucky.

Ever wonder why a guy (maybe) like Steven keeps posting here when it is
clear that few to none here like him at all?
