Ace, you need to fine tune your question a bit more? What type of phone,
flip or candy bar? Does RL PTT matter? Zoom or no zoom on the camera?

Best thing to do is a little research on SPCS's site, or phonescoop.com, and
then once you've limited it to two models, to go down to the SPCS store and
see what you like the most.

PS: I've had the Sanyo 5300 for over a year now, and enjoy the hell out of
it. It does have more camera features than the 8100 does, if that matters.

    I have the sanyo 8100,
Don't do a lot w/ the camera as I have a very good digital, but I
live out in the sticks and it gets better reception than previous phones
    I've had.
I also enjoy the ease of use and compact design. The picture quality
could be better on the camera, but over all i really like it, good phone.

I just bought a 8100 from costo for $165. It came with a belt clip, car
power cord, hands free ear bud.. Not to mention the excellent Costo return
    Policy..
I get just as good signal as I did with my 4900 plus the volume on the
earpiece is much better than the 4900.

It's out now. I got one yesterday from the Sprint store. It's just not
on the website yet. Great phone.

Really?? IT JUST got approved by the FCC! They didn't waste no time to
market on that one... Wonder when BestBuy will have them?

It's also called the VM4500. That's the "Sprint name" for it.

I don't know how this phone managed to stay secret for so=20
long, but it's been FCC approved for longer than that.

And we have 3 in our support lab. Awesome little phone. =20
Does just about everything: Video, Still, zoom capability,=20
REAL SMS (when we release that service), Vision, Ready=20
Link, and it even seems to hold a signal pretty well. A=20
few people on web sites are a bit disappointed in video=20
quality, but I'm not going to expect all *that* much from a=20
first try. I *do* know that saved videos play smooth as=20
silk on the phone's screen, with sound, too. Of course, I=20
just used slow pans around the call-center, so I haven't=20
    really tested that too much.

    I *don't* speak for them.
