    Hi All,

Long time sprint user...been with 'em since '97.

I currently have 6 people on my account (including me).

I've been shopping around, and in talks with Sprint PCS Sales (not their
'retention' dept), I've been offered the following plan:

3500 pooled national minutes for $220
    includes 6 users
    Vision on 1 line
    Unlimited PCS to PCS minutes

I currently have N&W at 8pm and am pretty sure I'd be able to keep that,
but the plan they are offering calls for 9pm N&W.

They are also offering the above with 4500 minutes for $250.

This is with a 1year agreement (I'm currently month to month).

    What do you all think?

    Thanks!

Both sound like pretty good plans, considering it includes 6 users ...
Question ... What plan are you on now, how much usage, and do you have
    PCS2PCS now?

    Re: Advice on this plan?

    Hi Bob,
Right now all 6 are on their own plans with varying minutes and features
for about $250 total. BUT...one user is regularly going over and that is
spiking the total bill by almost 100%! however, all the other users are
not reaching their total minutes, which is why I want a pooled plan.
    Thx.

Get it *in writing* as offered to you exactly that way. My=20
understanding is that no more than 5 lines can go together=20
    on a shared minute plan.

That's what we were told years ago when our needs increased from 5 to 6.
Sprint didn't budge until we called to let them know we were moving to AT&T
wireless...then they were able to fit 6 on one plan suddenly. we were
happy because number port. didn't exist back then and weren't looking
    forward to changing 5 numbers.

I wish you luck, friend. I still ***strongly*** recommend getting that=20
guarantee in writing. You can have as many as 10 phone lines on one=20
consumer account, and literally any number on a corporate one And then=20
there's a different method of sharing, establishing a kind of "pool" of=20
minutes. Like have all the phones sign up (just as an example) for 700=20
minute plans. And then, if one phone uses 750, but another only uses=20
650, then you're covered. That kind of arrangement has no line limit to=20
it, so far as I'm aware. But I'm not in a department that ever sets up=20
these arrangements, so I don't have all the details.

But the sharing plans, we're told in Customer Care, cannot go beyond 5=20
lines. If someone has got it working for you, terrific.

How would someone get that in writing? The only paper contracts we do are
corporate liable. Having the rep (or better yet their supe) note the acct
with this agreement should be ok, especially if it's a retentions effort.

I believe the 5 phones are simply a policy, and not any kind of capacity
    issue with billing, etc.

The OP made it sound like a corporate account, *and* that he was in=20
sales negotiations. Those *are* available in paper.

Sprint has that sort of arrangement for students at Vanderbilt
    University.

We are a business, but SPCS has us under a consumer account. We don't have
a designated sales rep. Just call the toll-free #.
