Coming from VZW, I'm just wondering if SPCS reciprocates in the aspect of
allowing unlimited calling on specific holidays? (Christmas, New Years,
Thanksgiving).
I know w/ VZW they would come out of your night/weekend unlimited minutes
bucket, but I'm wondering if Sprint does the same - better to know now,
before I fire the airtime up on Christmas.

Nope, no holiday N & W time through SPCS, unless the holiday lands on a Sat.
or Sun.

Wow, that sucks. Guess I better use the phone as much as I can this weekend
then, so I can decide if I plan to keep it..

There are no "Holidays" with SprintPCS. All Holidays are treated based
upon their day of the week. Thanksgiving and Labor Day is PEAK time.
Other Holidays New Years, July 4, Christmas with be non PEAK if they
fell on the weekend.

Drive to where ever you might need to use the phone, so you may discover
if there are any dead zones the SprintPCS maps may not show.
After your 14 days are up it gets tougher.

You're confusing the matter... Peak time is peak time, non-peak time
is non-peak time, 365 DAYS A YEAR!

But every other carrier except SprintPCS considers New Years, July 4,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas as Off-Peak even if its a Monday
or Thursday.

As my folks use to say, "It doesn't matter what everyone else is doing."
Sprint doesn't!

Aerial observed no holidays: Peak, Nights and Weekends. I'd be
guessing that T-Mo has followed their fine tradition.

And on top of that, the page doesn't say anything about holiday minutes.
A clue, Phil- read before you post. Or have Mommy do it for you, if the
words are too hard.

Please, handhold me to the information. I can't see anything on that=20
british site mentioning USA plans covering holidays.
By all means, enlighten me. Please.
