I've been wondering about how Amazon can offer those Amazon rebates on top
of the carrier rebates. My conclusion is that the carriers are subsidizing
the Amazon rebates, as in paying Amazon to offer the rebates. I just don't
understand why the Carriers don't offer those deals directly to the
customers from their websites. It has to be more expensive going through
    Amazon.

This bugs me. I don't know how much these phones actually cost the
carriers but many, if not most, seem over-priced to me. Now I could be
wrong about it but either the phones are over priced or they're making more
off the monthly subscriptions to service than we think, enough to offset
the cost of the phone and end up with a decent profit to boot, even with
    those accounts under retention plans.

That might have been nice but I can't stand the way Nokia phones look.
They look really cheesy to me. And too large to boot.

I'm a lover of belt clips. And the adapter has one. So, once it's all=20
on my belt, I don't have a wire running any which way, and I don't have=20
to reach down to my phone, or over to it, if I'm driving.

Yeah, the extra step or two can be annoying. But I think the=20
convenience pluses more than cancel them out.

    Of course, as always, YMMV
